Lodgings
Guest accommodations in the campus residence halls offer single or double rooms. The halls include common rooms, kitchenettes, laundry facilities and convenient parking. Summer lodging can accommodate 500 people. Off-campus arrangements can also be made with local inns and guest houses.
Facilities and Service
The catering service at the Stevens Dining Hall provides a variety of options in menu planning, ranging from hot and cold buffets and banquets to barbecues and box lunches. Arrangements can also be made for receptions, picnics or special dietary needs.
The Alexander Twilight Theatre, a professionally equipped main stage facility, seats 500 and is ideal for large group sessions and presentations.
Rooms with audiovisual support are also available as well as conference, seminar, meeting and computer rooms.
Lyndon State offers a variety of support services to meet your group's special needs. For example, large meetings might need sound requirements or clerical assistance, which can be arranged on an individual basis. Professional audiovisual services are also available, including overhead, slide, projector and TV/VCR equipment.
Recreation
The Rita Bole Center houses an Olympic-size swimming pool, two gymnasiums, racquetball courts, fitness room and a climbing wall. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the tennis courts, fields for team sports, an adventure ropes course and many trails for running or walking. The area surrounding Lyndon abounds with opportunities for recreational activities. Nearby St. Johnsbury offers a golf course, the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium, the Catamount Film & Arts Center, and quintessential Vermont Main Street shopping, while the beautiful mountains, streams and lakes of the area invite biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking or canoeing.
