iWOW Entrepreneur Camp 2.0

Dates: July 14–18
Format: One-week day camp
Age Group: Students entering the 8th or 9th grade or have completed iWOW Youth Entrepreneur Camp 2013.
Size: Attendance is limited to 15 students.
Cost: $300 includes lunch, materials, snacks, instruction and all activities.

Take your entrepreneur skills to the next level in this week-long, hands-on day camp. Build upon your existing business knowledge to tackle common dilemmas business start-ups face. Entrepreneur Camp 2.0 provides the tools, strategies, and the confidence needed to assess the marketplace, identify opportunities, and develop new businesses. Classroom instruction is enhanced and balanced with exciting outdoor physical activities through the Lyndon Adventure Program. The full day camp runs Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. and includes lunch, materials, and all activities such as swimming in the LSC pool, climbing wall, ropes courses, and more.

At iWOW Entrepreneurship Camp you will:

  • Gain a better understanding of yourself as an entrepreneur including your motivations, roles, and key responsibilities
  • Explore how to build a winning team and other common challenges facing entrepreneurs
  • Apply techniques for assessing the feasibility of a business idea
  • Learn about market segmentation and how to define a target market
  • Develop an understanding of cash flow management and resource allocation
  • Define the value proposition of a business
  • Become more adaptable to change and uncertainty for competitive advantage
