STEM Exploration Camp

A fun mix of hands-on academics and adventure for future science, technology, engineering, and math leaders.

Dates: August 4–8
Format: One-week day camp
Age Group: Students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall
Size: Attendance is limited to 15 students
Cost: $300 includes lunch, materials, snacks, instruction and all activities

Our new STEM exploration Camp is a week-long, hands-on day camp for students in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to explore and stimulate interest in the STEM disciplines through highly interactive classes and activities. Each day campers will participate in hands-on workshops with STEM experts and exciting adventure recreation activities such as the climbing wall and low & high ropes courses. A different STEM discipline will be introduced and explored each day including Atmospheric Science, Biology, Geology, Natural Sciences, and Physics. The full day camp runs daily from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. and includes lunch on the LSC campus and use of the swimming pool, ropes course and more.

At STEM Exploration camp you will:
