LSC Summer Baseball Camp 2014

Lyndon State Baseball Camp is designed to develop each player’s skills by teaching them the fundamentals of the game.

Dates: June 23–26, 2014
Format: One-week day camp
Age Group: Girls and boys, ages 6–14
Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (Parents may drop campers off at 8 if needed)
Cost: $150

Campers will have the opportunity to work with the Lyndon State’s coaching staff and current college players at a ratio of 10:1 or better. A certified athletic trainer will also be on staff and available while camp is in session. Campers will be placed into age appropriate groups and will work on all facets of the game including hitting, fielding, base-running, and pitching. Detailed instruction will be provided in all aspects of the game; followed by drill stations where campers will have the chance to work on the techniques covered by the coaching staff. This camp is designed for campers to not only learn and improve their skills, but to enjoy and have fun playing the game of baseball.

What to Bring:

  • Sneakers/Turfs/Molded Cleats
  • Glove
  • Bat (if camper has one)*
  • Lunch
  • Catchers need to bring their own gear
  • Shorts or Baseball Pants
  • T-Shirt

* Bats will be provided to campers who do not have one.

Camp Overview

9:15–9:45 am Introduction, stretch, and throwing mechanics
9:45–11:45 am Station Work: batting stations, positional stations, base-running, and pitching
11:45am–12 pm Breakdown and recap
12–12:45 pm Lunch
12:45–1 pm Rule of the day
1–2 pm Station Work: batting stations, positional stations, base-running, and pitching
2–3 pm Games/competitions
3 pm Dismissal

Cancelation Policy:

A refund will be awarded (minus a 25% service fee) if requested on or before two weeks prior to camp.
