The Lyndon State College Advisory Committee on Sustainability was established in 2006 to develop recommendations to the president for initiatives that will promote the reduction and recycling of materials purchased and consumed on the LSC campus.
Forward proposals to the president that will reduce energy consumption in college buildings and vehicles that will have a positive impact on air and water quality.
Promote educational opportunities on issues of natural resource preservation and environmental protection.
The committee is composed of students, staff, and faculty from the college and they encourage all members of the community to become involved in the many sustainability efforts being advanced at LSC.
