Learning by doing. Our students find this kind of education to be both more relevant and enjoyable. And they are career ready when they graduate—all very attractive to employers. Internships, site-visits, hands-on projects, research, and extensive travel opportunities are key to a Lyndon education, starting in your first year. Juniors and seniors can participate in Lyndon’s innovative Incubator Without Walls, a program that matches the talents of LSC students with local small businesses and nonprofit organizations to solve real-world problems. It’s good for business. It’s great for students.
It has been noted that today’s professional will change careers—not jobs, but careers—many times in their lifetime. A Lyndon education is designed to give students the breadth of knowledge, communications skills, and problem-solving abilities that will help them succeed in a rapidly changing workplace.
Are you the first in your family to attend college? A military veteran? An adult looking to change careers or stay ahead of the curve? We are a good fit for all these students. We also offer dual enrollment and early college programs that allow high school students to jump start their college education, saving time and money in the process.
Lyndon is much more than traditional four-year bachelor degree programs. You can choose to a take single course in a subject of interest, complete a certificate or two-year associates degree program, or licensure and master degree programs in education or the liberal arts. We offer online and hybrid classes that mix classroom and web-based experiences. And we offer many classes in the evening and summer.
