You’re In! Congratulations on your acceptance. We hope that you're proud to have been admitted into our community and that you’re looking forward to joining us on campus. We’re certainly looking forward to having you here! We encourage you to contact us at any time with questions or concerns about your Lyndon experience.

Prepare. In addition to providing an Office of First Year Experience to address your questions and concerns, we host a variety of different events throughout the year to ensure that your transition into our community is a smooth one! From Accepted Student Day to Orientation, we want to make sure you’re well-prepared to thrive at Lyndon.

Welcome. We welcome our accepted students every fall with an honored college ritual: Convocation. Convocation is meant to honor the shared experience of our students and recognize them as members of the Lyndon community. Convocation is the first "tribal council" at Lyndon State College. New students will be welcomed into a very special learning environment, and the faculty will dress for the occasion in regalia that has its roots in the middle ages.
