The Lyndon Veterans Park is a three-phase project to honor Lyndon students who have served in the armed forces. The first phase, a lettering and star design, identifies the park’s area around Fountain Pond. It was installed in the summer of 2012 and formally dedicated on November 12, 2012. The installation was made possible by the generous donations of members of our community.
Phase two, a granite reflection bench overlooking the Park and Fountain Pond was installed on Veteran’s Day 2013.
The Veterans Club has begun fundraising for the next phase. The third phase will be a series of plaques inscribed with the names of past and present Lyndon veterans.
