Get Active!

Thanks to the combined efforts of Lyndon’s Campus Activities Board, Adventure Program, Athletics Department, Fun and Spirit Committee, Lecture and Arts Committee, Resident Life staff, Student Government, and individual academic departments, students will find a non-stop schedule of activities for their enjoyment.

Whether you’re looking just for fun, a chance to express yourself, the personal fulfillment of community service, a day of activity off-campus, or a more thought-provoking experience, you’re sure to find plenty of outlets to fill the hours away from studies.

Over the course of the year you’ll be able to partake in twice-weekly first run movies, comedians, talent shows, disc golf afternoons, hiking trips, roller derby, hypnotists, bus trips (to New York, Boston, Six Flags New England, and Jay Peak’s Water Park), live bands, games nights, Spirit Week, the Annual Cultural Festival, theme days, sledding parties, slam poets, Pride Week, lecture’s, coffee houses, poker nights, bingo, Whiffle Ball, dodgeball, movie marathons, open mic nights, off-campus recreation (mini golf, insomnia bowling, and free skating), pie eating contests, commuter days and crafts activities (make your own wax hands, street signs, license plates, air brush trucker hats, photo key chains, henna tattoos, and air fresheners) live theater, tournaments, community service trips, magicians, recording artists, poker nights, the Insomnia Bowl, jugglers, sugar-on-snow, ice skating, bonfires, study breaks, a Valentine’s Day chocolate fountain, laser tag, Winter Weekend, and more. (Phew!)
