The Fitness Club seeks to promote students with a friendly environment to explore personal fitness. We provide outside activities in conjunction with other fitness-related clubs.
This club trains and participates in Ice Hockey at an intercollegiate club sport level. The team uses the local Fenton Chester Arena for their home games. Hockey also organizes “Free Skate” at Fenton Chester for the Lyndon community.
LSC Ski & Ride
The LSC Ski & Ride club was established to provide students the opportunity to progress as a skier or snowboarder through utilizing on-campus features and by traveling to various mountains. The club allows students to connect with other students who have a passion for skiing and riding, and promotes the ski and ride lifestyle. LSC Ski & Ride Club is responsible for numerous ski and snowboard movie premieres, the construction of on-campus features, as well as creating and competing in events at the local and collegiate levels.
The Lyndon Strikers is focused on the sport of bowling. This club offers low-cost weekly bowling events at Gold Crown Lanes in Saint Johnsbury to any member of the Lyndon community.
This club trains and participates in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. This isn’t the Frisbee you play in the summer, but a heart-pounding, high impact, fast paced sport. Lyndon Ultimate Frisbee is open to all types of players from amateurs to experience. This club competes at various competitions throughout New England.
This group provides quality outdoor activities and expeditions for the Lyndon community and alumni and promotes good fellowship among members. It allows for people to enhance their leadership and outdoor skills. This club organizes Ski Burke Day which allows students to ski or ride at Burke Mountain for a minimal cost and works with students on a weekly basis at Lyndon’s new rock wall along with various outdoor adventure trips throughout New England.
Members of the Quidditch Club come together to give students a chance to play the famous games from Harry Potter. This game combines dodge ball, soccer, rugby, and other sports all in one.
This club sport trains and participates in the sport of Rugby at the intercollegiate level in the New England area. Home games are played on the College Rugby Field. The Rugby team also typically hosts the Snow Bowl in March.
Regardless of whether or not you have a snowmobile, all are welcome to join. Members will have access to trails throughout the state. The Snowmobile Club was founded to unite snowmobilers across campus to promote safety, fun, and community interaction amongst members.
Also known as the Dance Team, this organization has now added in components of cheer-leading into their dance routines. The Spirit Squad performs during home athletic events and spreads school spirit through other means such as “Sea of Green” games and gear for students to show their school pride.
Swim Club provides students with a positive experiences and acceptance for all of its members through camaraderie, friendly competition, sportsmanship, and a general enjoyment of swimming as a lifelong activity. Additionally, Swim Club promotes a healthy lifestyle through swim conditioning practices and is open to all levels of swimmers.
Track and Field Club
This organization was established to create a means for students interested in track and field events to practice, condition, and compete in various events. This club meets throughout the academic year to train and travels to various colleges and universities throughout New England for competitions.
The Women’s Lacrosse club aims to train its members to play club level lacrosse against other colleges.
