Lyndon’s Computer Science program gives students a solid understanding of the technological infrastructure that drives the modern world. Within the core programming curriculum, students learn C, C++, Java, and programming for the Web. Lyndon students benefit from computer classrooms that give each of them a workstation on their desk.
Through the information technology component of the curriculum, students learn how computer systems are designed and networked, as well as the latest in Web technology. Our goal is to produce graduates who are critical thinkers and competent problem-solvers.
Experiential learning is a cornerstone of the Lyndon educational experience. Our students work as tutors, in paid internships at local businesses including Garnet Hill and Numia technologies, engage in student teaching, and create presentations of student work for conferences.
