Adjunct Faculty Member, Psychology
I come to Lyndon as an adjunct instructor and the Executive Director of a local nonprofit organization, Umbrella. Passion, integrity, and humility are the key values that both ground and propel me in all areas of my life. Prior to stepping into leadership roles at my current organization, I supported first-generation college students as they aspired to and enrolled in post-secondary educational settings of their choice. I’ve also worked as an Early Head Start Home Visitor, providing comprehensive child development and family support services to pregnant women, infants, and toddlers. I’m very interested in macro-level social work and public policy formation and have been trained in a variety of facilitation and program evaluation techniques. I’m a Lyndon alumna who graduated in 2009 holding a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Human Services. Originally from Boston, MA, I currently reside in Sutton, VT with my husband and two young children where I enjoy gardening, camping, and playing piano in any spare moments I can find.
