In case of weather delays or college closings…
The decision to delay or cancel classes or close the College is made by 6 a.m. This decision is transmitted to the following regional radio stations:
- 1340 WSTJ St. Johnsbury
- 550 WDEV Waterbury-Montpelier
- 1400 WLTN Littleton
- 105.5 WKXH-FM St. Johnsbury “Kix 105.5″
- 97.7 WGMT-FM Lyndon “Magic 97.7″
- 93.9 WLVB-FM Morrisville “Vermont Country 94″
- 96.1 WDEV-FM Warren
- 96.7 WLTN-FM Lisbon-Littleton
- 95.7 WDOT “The Point”
The announcement is also placed on the College’s class cancellation line 802.626.6767, or you can check the Portal under “LSCALL.” Announcements will also be posted on the kiosk.
If the decision is to delay, for example, to 10 a.m., this means that classes beginning before 10 a.m. are canceled. Classes beginning on or after 10 a.m. will proceed. Please note that the College’s policy is to make every effort to delay rather than to close.
Decisions to cancel classes later in the day because of deteriorating conditions will be communicated as above AND by College email and the Portal (assuming there is not a power outage).
