New students should check in at the Stannard Gym first and then go to your assigned residence hall lounge to check in to your assigned room.

Residence Halls close at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013
Residence Halls re-open at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013
Dining Hall closes with dinner on Oct. 4th and opens with dinner on Oct. 13, 2013

Thanksgiving Break

Residence Halls close at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013
Residence Halls re-open at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013
Dining Hall closes with dinner on Nov. 15 and opens with dinner on Nov. 24, 2013

Semester Break

Residence Halls close at 12 noon on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013
Residence Halls re-open at 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014
Dining Hall closes with dinner on Dec. 19 and opens with dinner on Jan. 19, 2014

Winter Break

Residence Halls close at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014
Residence Halls re-open at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014
Dining Hall closes with dinner on February 21 and opens with dinner on March 2, 2014

Spring Break

Residence Halls close at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014
Residence Halls re-open at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014
Dining Hall closes with dinner on April 4 and opens with dinner on April 13, 2014

Closing

Residence Halls close at 12 noon on Friday, May 16, 2014 (Students should check out at least 24 hours after their last final exam)
Dining Hall closes and meal plan ends with dinner on May 15, 2014

Those requesting on campus housing during breaks should submit a “Break Request Form” by the deadline listed in order to be considered.

* Students will not be permitted to remain in the Residence Halls past their closing unless they have been approved via use of the request form. Students who are found to be in the residence halls past closing, without permission, will be subject to fines and a judicial hearing through the Department of Student Life.
