The mission of the Student Activities and Leadership Center at Lyndon State College is to engage students to life outside the classroom through programs, leadership training and extra-curricular involvement.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) at Lyndon strives to promote the educational, social, and general welfare of the students of LSC and anticipates and stimulates the interests of students through the use of student run clubs and activities. Students have the opportunity to participate as elected representatives, lead as executive board members, and share their concerns with the student body. Check out our website for more information!
The SALC Office
The SALC Office is a great resource for all students who want to get involved on campus such as in clubs, work study, or off campus opportunities. Stop by to learn more about how you can get involved on campus! The SALC office is located on the 2nd floor of Vail just past the Hornet’s Nest.
2016 Student Leadership Conference

Want to learn exciting new ways to get involved as a student leader? Join us and students from other Vermont colleges in an exciting and entertaining day of gaining the skills or developing new skills as a student leader. The day is packed with knowledgeable sessions and special guests.

The student lounge is a great quiet place to study, or to just sit back and relax. There are Five computers available for students. Comfy chairs and sofas to relax in. Meet with your club, group, or other students!
The Catamount Arts offers film serious, movies, and other great performances free or at a discount for the Lyndon State College students. Only thing you have to remember is your student ID.
The Student Activities Shuttle will be offering a variety of trips this year. Join us as we travel to various places across Vermont and New Hampshire. Sign ups for the trips are required due to limited space in the shuttle. If you and some friends have a trip you would like to make, we will work with you to see if the shuttle is the best option for you! All shuttles depart from the Wheelock parking lot at the designated time.

February Break, Spring Break, and End of Year Shuttle Service
Rides to and from Irving Station in Littleton, NH and the Montpelier Amtrak Station will be available on the below dates for the February and Spring Breaks as well as the end of the year.
- Trips TO LITTLETON depart at 12 noon and trips FROM LITTLETON to campus depart the station at 9:30 p.m.
- Trips TO MONTPELIER depart at 8:30 a.m. and trips FROM MONTPELIER to campus depart the station at 7:30 p.m.

Shuttle Sign Ups
Sign ups for shuttle trips are on a first come – first served basis due to limited seating available. Please sign up using the Shuttle Sign Up form.
Bus trips take place throughout the semester and are sponsored by CAB. Some past trips include, New York City, Boston, Portland and other great cities around the area. Bus trips are a first come first served basis. Students are able to sign up through their e-mail the Monday before a trip. Since space is limited students will be notified whether or not they have been granted a spot or place on the waitlist. Students will receive an e-mail from Meredith Atchison with further instructions regarding the specific trip.
