The Health Clinic at LSC offers outpatient medical care at NO COST to registered LSC students. We assess and treat most minor illnesses and injuries, provide routine gynecological exams, and can provide ongoing care for chronic illnesses and special problems, e.g., diabetes, GI difficulties, etc. We will provide necessary prescription medications whenever possible.
Counseling and psychological care is provided by appointment, as well as alcohol and addiction recovery care. We do not provide in-hospital services; these are arranged by referral only.
Visits are by appointment. A secretary is available to take your call Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A nurse is available at the clinic Monday through Friday, and a doctor or physician's assistant is on campus four days a week. If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know; there are always other students waiting to be seen and in need of appointment time.
