Senator Bernie Sanders to Visit Lyndon State

Public Invited to February 16 Town Hall Meeting

The Lyndon State College Student Government Association (SGA) is sponsoring a student town hall meeting hosted by Vermont’s U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders on Monday, February 16 at noon. The senator is looking to get student input and perspective on some of the current major issues.

During the meeting, Sanders will give an overview of some of the economic and political challenges facing the country. In addition, there will be four student panelists on stage who will each speak for two-four minutes on women’s issues, climate change, college affordability, and big money in politics.
